Petroluxe Refinery Supports Schooling Needs for Underprivileged Students in Kampung Sungai Ular

9 January 2026 — A Schooling Assistance Contribution Ceremony for the 2026 academic year was successfully held at the Community Hall of Kampung Sungai Ular, Mukim Sungai Karang, Kuantan.

Petroluxe Refinery (M) Sdn. Bhd. was honoured to be invited by the Village Development and Security Committee (Jawatankuasa Pembangunan dan Keselamatan Kampung, JPKK) of Kampung Sungai Ular to implement a schooling assistance initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged children in the village as they prepare for the upcoming school session.

The programme forms part of Petroluxe Refinery’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, particularly in supporting education and community development within its surrounding areas. Through this initiative, essential school supplies were provided to help ease the financial burden on families and ensure that students are better prepared to begin the new academic year with confidence.

The ceremony was attended by local residents, students, and parents, and proceeded smoothly in a warm and positive atmosphere. The contributions were officially presented by the Chairman of JPKK Kampung Sungai Ular, Encik Tajuddin bin Mokhtar, together with the Project Director of Petroluxe Refinery (M) Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Guo Wubin.

A total of 100 students benefited from the programme, comprising 25 secondary school students and 75 primary school students.
